I am a worry wart in general, but for the past hour I've noticed my left leg is achey. It's not painful, nothing is hot or discoloured. No other symptoms other than a slight ache. Should I be concerned?

First stage is usually the gastric bypass possibly with hernia repair. After the weight loss has stabilized then the tummy tuck can be performed. Abdominoplasty and hernia repair can frequently be performed together.
I have a nurse that can stay with patients for the first day after surgery and even a few days after surgery to help with your care. I would ask your surgeon about the specifics of this as more details are needed.
