The total cost of surgerywill depend upon the type of anesthesia, skill found and experience of thesurgeon. There’ll be regional differences. Approximate costs can be found onrealself.com, and other websites such as the American Society of PlasticSurgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.Payment plans can beoffered through Care Credit, local banks, credit cards, and other companiessuch as Prosper. Some plans have 12-18months interest free.
I appreciate your question. Cost varies by geographic location, surgeon expertise, OR time, anesthesia, length of procedure etc. I would recommend that you see a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery and who is also a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgery. You can call their offices in advance and ask for quotes prior to scheduling consultations. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery. Best of luck! Thanks for the question. When it comes to costs of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure (quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find some average costs of surgery on this website and on individual plastic surgeons' websites as well. It is very likely that a procedure performed by a plastic surgery resident would cost less; what I would be concerned about is the quality of the outcome of the procedure performed. There is no doubt that a board-certified plastic surgeon will have a greater experience level than the plastic surgeon in training. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. Ask to SEE lots of examples of their work AND preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done.Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the relevant Board of Plastic Surgery.I would also suggest that you do not base your selection of plastic surgeon primarily on costs of surgery; keep in mind that revisionary surgery may be more costly in many ways. In other words, I would suggest that you save up and have the procedure performed by a board certified plastic surgeon who you feel confident can deliver an outcome that you will be pleased with long-term. I hope this, and the attached link, helps. Best wishes.
Really, the difference between these two implants is quite small, and unlikely to be significantly affecting your result. It is important to realize that the ultimate breast size and shape depend upon so very many variables. A 300 cc implant on a petite woman with a thin frame may look quite ...
It's important to have realistic goals and an understanding of what is able to be accomplished during breast augmentation surgery. I think 360 cc is reasonable and will be plenty of volume for you and will be a C/D for sure. You need to understand that we can't just put a huge...
It is not clear how long post op you are but I would recommend 6 weeks before wearing underwire bras or corset if the incisions are in the inframammary fold and healing well. If wearing a bra is irritating the wounds you can insert a silicone sheet in the area such as Mepitac or SilTape. Hope ...
