I dearly miss my evening baths. If I don't submerge my incisions can I take a bath still ? If not, how long until I can safely do so submerged and all ? I think I'm healing well (?)
Answer: When is it safe to take a bath? You shouldn't submerge your incisions in water for about 4 weeks or until your plastic surgeon says it is okay to do so. Good luck!

Answer: Baths after lift/aug Thanks for your question and photos. I typically advise my patients to take a "navy shower" after their surgery to minimize the amount of moisture on the dressings. This question is best answered by your surgeon, as every patient heals a bit differently and some surgeons have differnt opinions on getting incisions wet. In my pracitce, I would allow a bath once all of the tapes are off and I have confiremd that there are no areas of delayed healing along the incisonis. Good luck.

Answer: When is it safe to have a bath? If you don't submerge the incisions, you should be fine to take a bath now. However, I would be careful not to soak the incisions as it appears that your bandages are still in place which likely means you are early in the healing process. Ultimately, you'll want to get your plastic surgeon's OK, but I usually ask my patients to wait at least 2-3 weeks before submerging the incisions. This is likely longer than necessary, but I get nervous with implants in place and never want to do anything that may risk an infection. Best of luck with your continued recovery!

Answer: After mastopexy/augmentation, when is it safe to have a bath? Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation/lifting operation. I would suggest that you keep the breasts completely clean and dry until "cleared" by your plastic surgeon. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.

Answer: After mastopexy/augmentation, when is it safe to have a bath? Hello dear, thanks for your question and provided information as well… I have to say that you are still early on healing process, it is too soon to determine how your results are going to be, per now, they look very nice and beautiful, you can have one bigger than the other, feel swollen and also have bruises and open wounds, it is normal and that can happen for the first 3 to 4 months until your implants have settle in. I recommend you to wait and keep using your post surgical bra, that will help you with the shape and support. Hugs!
