Do photos make asymmetry look worse?

Everyone is asymmetric with left to right differences in every body part. No one has completely even breasts, especially without a bra or clothing. Minor differences are usually not noticed looking in the mirror, etc but can be seen in photos.  That's why they are important pre and post op.rest assured, follow up with your plastic surgeon as needed.

Thanks for this question.I know what you mean as this is a frequent comment from patients.Photos don't make you look worse they are actually objective ie true. They are the best way to look at yourself objectively and assess the way you looked before the procedure and after it.

I think that when one looks at photos, asymmetries are sometimes better appreciated.  Lighting and angles can also play into it.

Photos do not change the change the reality but they may make it more apparent to you than on direct examination.  Perception is everything. Some asymmetry is to be expected in everyone. So long as you are satisfied with the outcome, that is the important thing.

Photos don't usually make it look worse, they just show you the way it actually is. Many people don't know that they are asymmetrical until they see photos of themselves.
