Smart Lipo with bump on hourglass curve, will it fix itself over time? (Photo)

Question

I had abdominal liposuction with smartlipo about six months ago and there is a bump on one side of the hourglass curve that came from the corset digging into the area within the first week. It was two large bumps at first but dissipated after a few hours. However there is a small bump that remains. Is the fat still malleable at this stage and what can be done to fix it?? Will it fix itself over time?

Full healing can take 12 months or longer.

During this process, temporary contour areas, firmness usually subside with gentle massage, compression. Rarely, if persistent, residual scar tissue and/or fat may require additional treatments.

Close follow up with your plastic surgeon is recommended for instructions.

At six months, your liposuction results are final.
Compression garments will not change your fat distribution, and will not have an impact on the final results. If you’re still wearing a compression garment and try not wearing it for a few days and see if the compression garment is creating a temporary contour deficit.
I suggest you follow up with your provider and discuss your outcome with him or her.
