Liposuction results are permanent and irreversible. Waking after surgery will happen based on your new fat distribution. To make an assessment on the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we always need to see proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have proper before and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. It would also be helpful to include your preprocedure weight and your current weight in making an assessment. Most patients will have higher patient satisfaction with successful weight loss after liposuction procedures. Consider re-posting with proper pictures in order to get an assessment. What do you look like now? Doesn’t help us if we don’t know what you look like before the procedure. Delivering consistent quality, liposuction, results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons who truly mastered this procedure is an a small minority. Liposuction has more variability in outcome based on provider selection than any other plastic surgery operation. The importance of choosing providers correctly cannot be overstated. To find the best provider I suggest patients have multiple in person, consultations with local, board-certified plastic surgeons, who have a proven track record for delivering quality liposuction results. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures of previous patient who had similar body characteristics to your Round. An experience plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. Seeing numerous before, and after pictures of patients, who had similar body characteristics is the best way to get a clear understanding of what the typical results will look like in the hands of each provider. Being shown a handful of pre-selected images, representing the best results of a providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding I would average results look like from that provider. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the best plastic surgeon. Considering how much variation there is in skill and experience, and how difficult it is to master this procedure I suggest patients consider having at least five in person consultations before scheduling surgery.
