Should I repeat ultherapy or get a refund?

I had ultherapy on my brow 6 months ago. I saw absolutely no results. They have offered to re-do the treatment, or give me a refund. I'm not sure what I should do. I'm a 47 yr old female looking to achieve a slight brow elevation.

That depends on how qualified you think the operator performing the procedure is.  If the operator and the practice are reputable, then I would opt to have a second treatment as there are several people who need a second and sometimes 3rd treatment to their brow.  If you have a heavy brow (like I do) then you will need 2-3 treatments.  If you are there because it's a good deal, or you got a discount, I would get a refund and find a place that can do it right for you.

This is difficult to answer without before and after pictures. For non-invasive options like ultherapy, a combination approach would give the improvement. I recommend Ultherapy, RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP to provide skin tightening and lift. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

In my experience the brow is often one of the last tissues to elevate and may take up to one year to show results.  In my practice patients are offered a touch up at six months if needed.

Typically, benefits of Ultherapy results do not start until approximately 3 months after treatment and maximum results occur in 12 months.  For some patients, I may repeat another Ultherapy treatment for more dramatic results in 3-6 months.  I will also add neurotoxin and filler treatments to further enhance the results.  As always, it is best to consult with a board-certified dermatologist.
