I am about to do a surgery on the tip of my nose and while wanting to do the Kybella, neck fat reduction at the same time (days apart). Will this be ok or is there any conflict of interest between the 2 ? And what would you recommend i do first, if so? Thank you intelligent doctors!

Answer: Nose and Neck Certainly a tip rhinoplasty and Kybella injections can be done together or days apart. Although it would be more efficient and effective for the neck fat reduction to be done by liposuction since you are already in the operating room and under an anesthetic for the rhinoplasty surgery.

Answer: Kybella, fat reduction and NOSE surgery at the same time! Is this ok? There are no contraindications to combining these procedures. However, liposuction is a much better alternative especially if you are already undergoing another surgical procedure. Liposuction is the gold standard for fat removal with a one time treatment

Answer: Rhinoplasty with Kybella Yes its Ok to have a rhinoplasty and do Kybella at the same time. I am not sure I see the logic in this though. If you are going to have rhinoplasty and it will take one to two weeks to heal and rest. Why not just have liposuction of the neck and be done with the excess fat of the neck. Liposuction takes 1-2 weeks to heal as well. Kybella needs any where from 3-6 shots done one month apart and would have 2 weeks of induration and numbness of the skin. Kybella is for people who are not having any surgery and don't have time to sit around and heal.
