No, a hot bath two days after your CoolSculpting procedure, or even a few hours after your CoolSculpting procedure, will not affect your results. Once you leave the office, you resume your everyday activities without missing a step. One of the benefits of the CoolSculpting procedure is the lack of downtime and freedom from any after care routines at home. With CoolScupting, there is no need to massage the treated area at home, as is necessary following the SculpSure procedure. However, the CoolSculpting results are affected by an in-office, post-treatment massage, performed by the CoolSculpt provider. The post-treatment massage is performed immediately after the treatment applicator is removed from your treatment area, before the frozen fat cells have a chance to thaw. Post-treatment massage has shown nearly a 70% improvement in CoolSculpting results, vs. no post-treatment massage performed. Here at The West Institute, we do even better. The West Institute utilizes the benefits of the Z-Wave Pro to destroy the crystallized fat cells. This non-invasive, hand-held, pulsed energy device allows our patients to appreciate their results within 1-2 months, instead of the typical 3-4 months, when the manual massage method is used.
I hope you enjoyed your hot bath as it would not have affected your treatment results at all. The procedure itself and post massage, are the most important part of the treatment process. Following that, maintaining a health diet with a regular exercise routine is what is recommended for all coosculpting patients in order to see optimal results.Best of luck,Dr. Philip Solomon, Solomon Facial Plastic, Toronto, Canada
Hello,Thank you for your question. No there should not be any problems due to the hot bath. Congratulations on your treatment, and good luck!
No, a hot bath won't negatively impact your results. Keep in mind, it can take 3-6 months for final results after Coolsculpting. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. A VASER procedure would give more contouring. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. Your fat cells die during your treatment and therefore this will not have any impact on your results. Please consult with your provider if you have any concerns. Regards,
Thanks for our question. Taking a hot bath will have no effect on the results of your coolsculpting session. The freezing of fat on your abdomen took place during the coolsculpting session and stops as soon as the applicator is removed. Heating the area afterwards does not bring the fat back to life so you are all good. The treatments can be time consuming for large areas so be sure to use Dual Scultping to double the treatment in the same amount of time.
Having a hot bath two days after the CoolSculpting treatment to your abdomen should not affect your results. In fact, a hot bath anytime after the procedure should not have any impact on the results.
A hot (or cold) bath will not affect your CoolSculpting results. Exercise, or activity will not affect the results either. Carry on your usual daily routine. Only limit activity if it's painful.
There is no contraindication to taking a hot bath after CoolSculpting. The damage to the fat cells was done during the treatment and you will not alter the results by anything that superficial. You can sit in a hot bath if it helps the area you CoolSculpted feel better as sometimes people have soreness. Good luck.
No taking a hot bath will not interfere with your CoolSculpting results. That is the beautiful part about CoolSculpting you can resume all your normal activities.....including soaking in a hot bath! Good luck! Dr. Alonso
The fat you lose during the CoolSculpting procedure is substantial enough to make a visible difference, but usually not enough to budge the scale. If you have pinchable, pullable fat, you will have a smaller waist, maybe not two inches, but you should experience a notable change after 12...
Pain thresholds are different for all patients. Most patients experience some type of discomfort after CoolSculpting. I estimate that 60% of our patients find the pain extreme for a few minutes just as you did. Other patients don't seem to mind it as much, or just know that pain...
Thank you for your question. Nerve pain can last up to a couple of weeks after treatment. it will usually subside within a month. Please follow up with your provider with any concerns.Regards,
