Gynecomastia recurrence with one session of marijuana or propranolol?

Question

I have just had gynecomastia excision and Lipo done 6 weeks ago. Would a session of smoking marijuana (1-2 joints) cause a possible recurrence? I am not a regular user but I would like to try it out once. Could the drug Propranolol also cause a recurrence? Thank you so much.

The #recurrence of breast enlargement is uncommon following #gynecomastia surgery. However, it can occur. If this happens, you may require further surgery in the future. The male breast is composed of glandular tissue and fatty tissue. An excess in either type of tissue can cause the chest to take on the look of gynecomastia. Gynecomastia can affect #men of all different body types. There are different types of #gynecomastia.Several common factors can cause gynecomastia including excessive levels of #estrogen, natural #hormone changes, use of recreational drugs or alcohol, medications and their associated side effects, and, various health conditions. Also, there are different types of #gynecomastia. Therefore, weight gain, steroid use,recreational drug use and have hormonal conditions can contribute to a return of gynecomastia regardless of previous surgical removal and treatments.

Familial gynecomastia where most of the male breast tissue is removed generally has long lasting results without recurrence as long as your weight remains the same. However, other causes of gynecomastia if still present can cause the residual breast tissue to grow again. For example THC (frequent use of marijuana), certain medications, hormonal imbalance, and other causes can make that happen

I'm sorry, but this is like asking "If I only eat a little rat poison, will it kill me?" Even if the answer was "No" do you think you should do it?If you are asking for approval to do something illegal or inappropriate, you won't get it here. Even in states where it is legal for medical uses, it would be inappropriate to intentionally do something that has been shown to cause/worsen gynecomastia. Certain medications can also worsen gynecomastia or lead to recurrence (since a small amount of tissue remains after proper excision), so the balance must be between the need for the medication and the recurrence potential of your gynecomastia. Perhaps other medications can be substituted. Ask your doctor.Non-compliance like this drives surgeons wild! But at least you have the wisdom to ask; hopefully, you have the wisdom to listen.
