Hello, I had minor gyno surgery on my right side two weeks ago 8/19/16. I am wearing my compression garment. I was wondering when is the earliest I can atleast do a leg workout? I am going hiking in Colorado in 6 weeks and want to atleast condition my legs somewhat so I'm not total fatigued when I go out there. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
I am at about 2 weeks post-op for gynecomastia surgery, I had lipo and the glands removed on both sides. My doctor told me that I can now switch to an underarmor compression shirt that fits snugly. I currently have a large underarmor shirt that feels pretty tight around my stomach area. It feels tight on the chest area as well but not like the compression shirt I've been wearing. Would the large be tight enough, or should I get the medium sized shirt just be safe?
I just have my gynecomastia surgery done 18 days ago(liposuction + glandular tissue removal). I wake up with discomfort and a little pain from abdomen region(may be from stomach) and lower back EVERY MORNING since the day I started wearing the compression vest. But those feelings get much better and are gone very soon after I get up(walk or sit). It only happens when I lying on bed for a long period of time such as sleeping. Is it caused by wearing the compression vest?
Hi everyone,I wont see my surgeon for another 3 weeks - currently at 25 days post-op. Recovery has gone good so far but the compression garment I purchased online (one supplied from the surgeon wasnt tight enough) has become too tight to the point where it creates creases and folds in the nipple (was great for swelling when I had the bandages on as theyve come down a lot)Have switched to under armour vest which fixed the issue - is there a chance that swelling comes back after its subsided.
Hi! I had gynecomastia surgeryliposuction on my chest 3 weeks ago. And i was wondering how tight should the compression garment be and how long should i wear the compression garment? I felt that the garment i had was not giving be so much compression(became loose), so now i am using two compression vests' to get more tightness. Does extra tight compression give better final results and is it safe?
Hi, I had a gynecomastia surgery (excision and liposuction) and also Vaser lipo from the waist (love handles). Since then I have been wearing compression garments. Initially they felt good but after 2 weeks of recovery, sometimes it feels better without them (couple of hours). I will be flying for 8 hours, layover for 4 hours and then another flight of 7 hours. I plan to drink lot of water and ambulate. If compression gets too uncomfortable then is it okay to remove them for the flight? Thanks
i use the compresion garment 1 month after surgery, then the doctor says i dont use it any more. when i stop using it i notice one nipple was puffier than the other and i thought this could be seroma, went to doctor and he told me it wasnt (i never get any seroma out after the surgery) told me that with time it will get better. with time i notice the other nipple was getting puffier too and when i press boves nipples it hurts and im now 6 months post op. what should i do for this to get better?
3 days after lipo and excision for gynecomastia and I am wearing a large compression vest which is working to keep my swelling down on my chest but it seems to have pushed the swelling to my arm pits and now my ability to move my arms has reduced.
I had gynecomastia surgery two weeks ago. I wear the compression garments at all times only taking off to wash/change garments. In between i apply neosporin and massage gently and redress in garments. when taking off the under garments the dark scabbing part of my nipples usually stick and pull off, i thought nothing of it, they never bothered me but today i noticed a discoloration that looks like fat in the areola section of my right nipple. Is this necrosis, should i apply sterile dressings?
1st gynecomastia surgery April 2015 lipo and excision. Left crater in left, protrusion still on right side. 14days post revision op, crater on lift fixed. 100ml of fat removed from right, surgeon said he found thick hard scar tissue that he couldn't remove with cannula. Swelling has pretty much gone, leaving my nipple sticking out the same way as before with just less fat around it. The scar is very thick, hard and wide. What are my options? Injections? More surgery? I massage and wear garment.
