Is Sculptra for butt lift completely safe?

I am considering a non-surgical bbl with Renuva but I was told I need scupltra as well as I have some sagging/wrinkles but I am nervous as sculptra is not FDA approved for buttocks- is sculptra safe for buttocks?

Regardless of what filler you use, it will cost you much more money than you think to get any visible augmentation of your buttocks. Renuva, Sculptra, and Bellafill are all fillers that were designed and marketed for the face, where a few cc's (syringes or vials) makes a big difference. They are all outrageously expensive for anything more than the small amount  used in the face. Don't be snookered by practitioners willing to inject 40 vials of Sculptra into your butt (and charging you $8000-$25000); you will see nearly no change at 2 months.  Beyond this issue, I will remind you that the effects of a real brazilian butt lift is 80%-90% from the liposuction of the hips and waist, the rest from the fat grafting, which is usually in 300 to 500 cc range. You should consult with honest plastic surgeons (yes, there are a few of us around in this dangerous city we call LA) to talk about this more.

Sculptra has been used for the BBL in our office for at least two decades. It is not the use of Sculptra but the hands of the Plastic Surgeon that creates safety or danger to the patient. As far as renuva is concerned, it is very expensive, considering the small volume and the results will not be very long lasting.
