Question

I've been thinking about rhinoplasty for awhile now. I like my profile but it's the view of my nose front on that I dislike. I don't mind it when I have makeup on and draw contour on my nose, but would like to achieve that look without makeup so I can be more comfortable in my own looks. I have a very bulbous tip that I believe lacks definition and also I think I have a low nasal bridge. Wondering what types of procedures I should look into and if it's achievable. *Collage photos of Me

Thank you for your question. Your nasal bridge is rather low. This makes the nasal bridge look less defined from the front. Nasal bridge augmentation is possible using a cartilage graft or implant. The bulbousness of the nasal tip can be corrected into a slimmer nasal tip through alar cartilage realignment with or without partial trimming of it. Nasal bone seems to be wide, and whether its reduction by osteotomy is required or not can be determined by direct examination.

You will need 3 things.

1. Alarplasty for narrowing the nostrils
2. Tip-plasty to reduce the bulbosity of the tip
3. Dorsal implant to lift the bridge and give it more definition.

Procedures for bulbous nasal tip: You’re tip does appear to be somewhat bulbous and slightly over projecting. The usual procedure for this is a nasal tip plasty.
