Question

I have the worst nose possible I feel so hideous with it, it’s very pointy and very sharp. I’ve been bullied for it before. I’m fully Puerto Rican both my parents have nice cute noses but mine is completely different. What type of rhino could I benefit from? You can see my dorsal jump from the front too. Thanks

You are a good candidate for a straightforward rhinoplasty. Your nose projects out too far and has a hump. The goal would be to set your nose closer to your face. This is done with basic rhinoplasty techniques

Dear Sofia;As far as I can see from the photos, you have a slight curvature to the left in your nose. You have a very small nasal bridge. The tip of your nose is very wide. These can all be changed with the closed rhinoplasty technique. In closed rhinoplasty, the operation is performed by entering through the nostrils and cuts are made entirely inside the nostrils, without cutting the nasal tip consequently there will be no visible scars on the nose. Also this technique protects the veins, nerves, and ligaments.Best regards

Thank you very much for you question. One could improve the dorsal of your nose to give it a subtle slope to improve the side profile. Manipulating the cartilages in the tip of your nose can be done to improve the shape. It would be appropriate to see a surgeon who specialises in rhinoplasty to discuss your needs.

Are you a candidate for a rhinoplasty? A rhinoplasty typically reduces the length and projection of the nose, if you would like to make your nose smaller. As to the “pointiness“ your nose does not seem to be excessively pointy to me.

From your photos, the nose appears relatively midline although there may be a slight old infracture of the right nasal bone at the bridge. the nasal tip is broad and amorphous, and the nasal bridge is slightly high with a minimal hump. Your nasolabial angle appears satisfactory. There is no obvious septal displacement. 
 You appear to represent an excellent candidate for a closed rhinoplasty with lowering and straightening the bridge to create a feminine curve and partial resection of upper and lower lateral cartilages to improve tip definition. 
Seek a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for in-person evaluation and discussion.
