Venus Legacy VS Ultherapy for jaw line?

I have seen incredible results with ultherapy in the jawline, I am unfamiliar with Venus Legacy and spend a significant amount of time looking at new technologies at the national meetings. I generally recommend that patients stick to the noninvasive treatments for facial laxity until they get significantly older than 31 to undergo any kind of face lifting surgery.

My recommendation for all my patients that are candidates for RF treatments is: thermage (I like better than Ultherapy) first and then follow 2-3 weeks later with a Venus series of treatments.  As well I do botox and fraxel to the neck for rejuvenation.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Venus Freeze (Legacy) is a form of radiofrequency (RF), which is also used in Thermage and other noninvasive treatments. Ultherapy uses microfocused ultrasound. Both treatments are based on the idea of thermally stimulating a healing response that leads to collagen remodeling. I switched from RF to Ulthera a few years ago because it can be more precisely focused and targeted where it needs to be. Ulthera remains the only FDA-approved noninvasive device for skin lifting.
