Hi, I'm 51 I'm considering different treatments to address sagging skin on neck and checks, also smile lines (nose to mouth and marionette lines) getting deeper.I also have a few dark sun spots that would like to take out.Overall, I would like a younger firmer skin, without doing facelift. What would be better? I'm considering ultherapy vs venus or laser treatment called Trinity (targeting 3 different things:sagging, wrinkles and dark spots)I run, so I get some sun exposure on early mornings

Answer: Ultherapy is the best non-surgical, no-downtime face & neck lifting procedure we have. Ultherapy uses sound waves to injure the fascia and deep dermis without injuring the surface of the skin. The procedure doesn't offer instant results but offers real and consistent tightening in good candidates. Ultherapy can be used to treat the face, neck, temples (brow lift) and decollete and is used off-label for other areas. I would recommend starting with a busy Ultherapy practice and ask them for what results you should expect. Ultherapy will NOT decrease your facial fat. I do think we see the best rejuvenating and age-reversing improvements when we combine modalities, including volumizing fillers in the upper face. Good luck!

Answer: Ultherapy vs Venus Freeze vs Trinity The "Buzz" in the medical and patient community still is Ultherapy. Ultherapy is the only device FDA approved to tighten and lift the chin, neck and eyebrows. Even doctors who have both Thermage and Ultherapy will recommend Ultherapy for firming sagging skin. Ultherapy uses ultrasound to go deeper, reaching down towards the SMAS with more precision, depth and heat which is what provides the lift and growth of collagen. The Venus Freeze is a pulsed magnetic field and radio frequency energy. The Venus Freeze, "may increase" theproduction of collagen and elastin in the skin. Currently the device is only FDA cleared for wrinkle reduction, allrest only claims by the manufacturer. The Trinity, is not a laser, but a low level electrical current for "facial toning" and has an optional LED light attachment that is being "marketed" for "wrinkly reduction". This is not a laser or even a medical-grade device.Clients should educate themselves before parting with hard earned money!
