What is the difference between Venus Freeze and Venus Legacy?

Is one a newer generation of the same technology? Would appreciate specifics as to the differences between the two, and when these were developed. Thanks!

Venus Legacy is the newest generation of the Venus device. Venus Freeze only utilizes electro-magnetic energy and radio frequency. The Venus Legacy also utilizes suction to pull the tissue in to effectively reach deeper tissue. We still use the Venus Freeze for the face and neck for the most part, but we do really like the Venus Legacy for the body. I hope this helps,

Hi Bean,Venus Freeze was the original device that uses radio frequency and electro-magnetic energies to tighten lax skin.  Venus Legacy is the same technology with suction added to the hand pieces which brings the subcutaneous fat closer to the heat of the device, resulting in both skin tightening as well as some fat reduction. Venus Legacy is the newer generation radiofrequency skin tightening machine by the Venus Company. It adds suction to the procedure and thus allows deeper penetration of the radiofrequency.  The Legacy machine has the same probes as the Freeze machine, plus two additional that contain suction.

Venus Freeze was the original device, yes. It uses cross-magnetic pulses and radio frequency. Venus Legacy was created after with the same philosophy, with added suction. Adding suction allows deeper fat and cellulite to be treated much more effectively. Very rarely do we use Venus Legacy on the face though, and opt instead for Venus Freeze because rarely do people want less volume in their faces....
