Noticed a ripple and what feels like an air bubble on my left implant towards my cleavage. What could this be? (Photo)

I've had my silicone implants (under the muscle) for 2 months. I've just recently noticed I have some sort of rippling when I push my implants up. The next day, I noticed a strange bump on my breast. It feels like an air bubble. Both the "ripple" and air bubble are on the medial side of my left breast. I can press down on the air bubble and it "deflates". It isn't a solid feeling either. Please give me an idea what this could be to ease my mind until I can see my PS. Thank you!!

This Is perfectly normal and will disappear in the next few weeks. It is from air and fluid (irrigation, local anesthetic, serum, etc) in the pocket which will be naturally absorbed over time.

Thank you for your question and photos.  It is not uncommon to be able to feel the edge of the implant and that is likely what you are experiencing.  You are likely moving the implant gel a bit, giving that soft feeling.  This is a typical location to be able to feel it.  Rest assured.

You are feeling the edge of the implant and the scar tissue that surrounds it (also called the capsule). These can be normal sensations associated with having a permanent implant placed in this location. I try and warn my patients that there can be strange feelings like this and they are normal to avoid having my patients become alarmed during the healing process.

You are most likely feeling the edge of the breast implant.  In thin women, a small "ripple" is particularly common in this area of the breast.  As normal scar tissue encapsulates the breast implant, this ripple may become less noticeable.  It would be safest to check with your Plastic Surgeon to ensure you are making desired progress in your healing and recovery.

You probably are feeling the edge of the implant. This is not uncommon. Check with your PS to be certain. Rippling  can also be seen in this area, commonly in the medial part of the breast. Check with your  surgeon.
