1 months post op Rhinoplasty, I have very bad dark circles. Is this normal?

I have a very bad dark circles one month after rhinoplasty I know it is normal but how long it will be there and is it permanent ;and does green tea help to reduce it in this case if not what can I do to help reducing it as I will go back to work where I need to look fresh ,I am cabin crew and even with a good make up still look bad please help

This may occur after
rhinoplasty because of bruising, but will subside after time. There are no
creams, with any scientific basis, that will help diminish bruising
significantly.

You are correct. It is common to have dark circles under the eyes after rhinoplasty that will persist for 4-6 weeks post op. If you fear that yours may persist for a longer period of time, you can try herbal medicine such as green tea or take arnica pearls sublingual from mothers market or a nearby pharmacy. This also comes in gel form that can be applied to the skin.Hope this helps.Dr. Ali Sajjadian

Photos would be helpful to assess.   However it is feasible to still have some bruising or hematomas in this post operative period.one nice modality of treatment is PDL.  Pulsed dye laser.  It is not very painful and may speed the process along
