Front tooth darker after trauma. If I get veneers on both teeth, would this look better?

Hello Laura,I would recommend two units, rather than just one.  Veneering/crowning only the one front tooth adds to the level of complexity in trying to match it perfectly to the adjacent tooth.  Any small difference in shape or shade would cause your smile to look uneven.  The difference between a crown and veneer is a crown wraps entirely around the tooth and the veneer only covers the front and possibly extends slightly to the back. If enough tooth structure remains, veneers will work great for both teeth. However, if your bite needs more stability then crowns would be recommended.  I always recommend selecting an experienced cosmetic dentist that really knows what they are doing. The best indicator to determine if the dentist is going to give you the results that s/he claims, is by viewing before and after photos of his/her patients that have undergone similar or the same procedures. Yes, it is much easier to do two veneers in front teeth than one for color purposes.  Internal bleaching on the root canal teeth can help to change the color before the placement of veneers.  Choose a cosmetic dentist with experiece.  

Yes, porcelain veneers would be a good option for you. You can have an internal bleaching procedure done on the root canal treated tooth to improve the shade and then have veneers on both your front teeth.
