Dear imisWith trauma in the early post rhinoplasty period, you should see your surgeon as soon as possible. If bones have shifted, he might be able to correct the issue in the office.

Nasal dents/contour irregularities following mechanical trauma after surgery is common. Your swelling should resolve over the first month.You should contact your plastic surgeon who may be able to intervene in the early period and remold your nasal bones etc.

Hi imis0323,If you are referring to the hump on both sides of your nasal bone (I see bumps on the side of your midbridge), this can result from uneven removal of the hump or bone reaction during the removal of the hump. You may also note that there is a depression just below the bump, which can be caused by bridgeplasty and hump contouring, and may not necessarily be related to the incident. By this time, it is also still natural for the area to feel tender to touch.Should the bump and dent persist for more that 6 months to 1 year, you may want to consider a revision.
