I would like the top arm fat lipo-ed and detailed around the muscles. I came across the name celebrity arms and associated it with one doctor, but want to check out other surgeons who specialize in this technique. I don't just want the standard lipo under the upper arms, I would like the "HD arms", but don't know what else to search under. Is it hit or miss and shall I call up plastic surgeons and ask these specifics? That is a lot of inquiring! Thanks all. Either Melbourne, Aus doctors or USA doctors will be alright.
Answer: Lipo360 - VASER HD, J Plasma/Renuvion/Inmode BodyTite tightening, fat grafting to arms, HD LIPO arms and definition this can be done if you area good candidate, we do this daily. you need someone who specializes in arms specifically (see link) as this is a very detailed treatment. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring. Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty). Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. Answer: Avoid high definition body contouring Hi definition body contouring is an inappropriate procedure and then somebody forming people more than it does making people look good. If you contact me directly I can show you examples of disfigured arms from high definition work. I have a collection of patients disfigured from this procedure especially using the VASER. When someone moves their arms the fat shifts instead of looking like a muscle to fat looks like tumors. This is conceptually inappropriate. High quality liposuction is exactly what you want. Even diffuse smooth thin layers of fat that is consistent all the way around your arm. Excessively removing fat at a muscle interchange will not stay in place as you move your arm or with the aging process. No matter what you do that indentation will never be quite where it supposed to be. High definition only works on very tight skinned thin fit young people especially men. It’s highly inappropriate for anyone who has any kind of skin laxity. Even for those people who are good candidates currently they will become lesser candidates as the age, gain weight and develop skin laxity. even if they don’t develop problems from the procedures immediately they are buying themselves future problems by having high definition of work done. This procedure is conceptually incorrect. Purposely leaving fat to look like muscle doesn’t look like muscle. It looks exactly like what it is. Fat meant to look like a muscle and it looks silly in my opinion. It’s hard enough to find a provider who can competently do arm liposuction without leaving any problems. Count yourself lucky if you find a quality provider who can simply get you through the procedure without a single deficit. Avoid arm high definition Liposuction. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
