I lost (20-25 lbs) & still have some extra fat & loose skin, no muscle separation. Standing up looks ok, but could be improved a lot, sitting down one can see the belly hang. What would be result for me with BodyTite Liposuction only? Would i see large enough improvement on my abdomen? or do i need a mini TT in a combination operation? Also, Id like to avoid a long hip to hip full TT scar

Answer: Abdominal aesthetics There are four variables that determine what the abdomen looks like. If someone doesn’t like their abdomen, it is always because of one or more of these four variables. The four variables are abdominal, skin laxity, excess subcutaneous fat, muscle separation from previous pregnanci, or Excess visceral fat. You can check the impact of skin, Laxcity we’re pulling the skin tight. You don’t appear to have a significant amount of skin, Laxcity, and a question if a tummy tuck is indicated. Short scar tummy tucks 10th and not deliver with patients are hoping for because most people who have skin Laxcity did the weight loss have diffuse skin Laxcity around their entire torso Which includes the love handles. If you’re going to do a tummy tuck, then do a full or even extended one otherwise live with the skin laxity nobody is going to have tight skin in a sitting position. Your domino wall still bulges, which tells me you have visceral fat I need to lose further weight. Further weight loss is your best option for a better looking abdomen and will supersede any surgical procedure. Men who’ve had weight loss typically do not get good liposuction results because the problem is skin laxity, and the only successful treatment for skin Laxcity is skin surgery. In your case, I don’t think you have enough skin laxity to justify a tummy tuck. If it bothers you enough to put up with having the procedure, then I’m sure you’ll have no difficulty finding a plastic surgeon to take your money. A limited mini tummy tuck will just make your love handles bulge more. Bodytite will leave you disappointed, and it’s a waste of money. Because your abdomen, still bulges, visceral fat is still contributing and dealing with that will have the greatest impact on how your body looks. Try losing 5 pounds at a time and take corresponding pictures using the same camera, distance lighting, etc. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
