Hi One year ago I had a chin implant. The results were good but since the swelling has gone down, I don’t have as much projection as I would like. I have a class 2 occlusion so I accept there’s limits to what can be achieved. I don’t want surgery again, but could fillers/ Botox help to define my jaw and balance my chin and lips? I’m struggling to find a doctor in the U.K. who is willing to add and filler to my chin for risk of infection but jaw and lips are ok. Below are post op photos. Thanks.

Hey there,Botox and fillers can define the jaws in an otherwise normal occlusion pattern. Since you have a class 2 occlusal abnormality and have already had a chin implant I would recommend a cephalometric assessment and planning, and  then proceed accordingly.

I would avoid filler injection to the chin since you already have a chin implant and there is a risk of infecting the implant. If the occlusion is the problem, I suspect you will need to get that corrected to have an optimal aesthetic results. I will defer to the dentist on this forum to discuss the treatment options for class 2 occlusion.
