Red itchy rash when surgical tape removed, does everything look okay? (Photos)

I am 4 weeks post op mastopexy/augmentation. I had my tapes taken off 3 days ago. Since then, the area has been incredibly itchy. Also, I have a small wound that has not completely closed and is slightly weeping. Does everything look okay in your opinion.

The itching and redness is due to allergic reaction to the surgical tape so no need to worry. You may also ask your surgeon for further advice and assessment.

Looks like a reaction the tape that has been used. Your surgeon to their nurse would be best to guide you with other options. It will settle with time so do not get too concerned about it.

Sensitivity to adhesive tapes is very common., and presnets exactly as you demonstrate. Commonly there is itching and redness but rarely blistering.The edge of the redness follows the tape exactly, that is how you know. This usually clears up after  a few days, and I wouldn't worry.If you do have any concerns of course you must return to your PS for advice and guidance.

Graduations on your surgery, your result looks very good.  If the pink areas that you see are likely an allergic response to the tapes.  Ask your plastic surgeon if you may try 1% hydrocortisone cream on these areas.
