Very wide nose with no bridge (Photo)

Question

Hi i am a 22 year old female, i have a large, flat nose with no bridge and it really bothers me. I have small eyes but it makes them look tiny and i rely on heavy eye makeup and contouring just to try and balance my features. I got eyebrow tattoos at 14 much higher than my natural browline, to make more room for makeup. I want to distract attention from my nose. I'm in the UK and would like my nose to look caucasian. How much would it cost and would i need more than 1 session? Thanks. - Kamoon

This is a common situation in an Asian and Afican-American nose. These kind of noses need a vertical height augmentation of the bridge and frequently a columella strut to improve tip projection. I have had excellent results using a crushed cartilage graft enclosed in a sleeve of temporalis fascia (known as a'Turkish Delight') done through an open rhinoplasty. You can see an example of this on my website of an African-American with a graft to the bridge and a columella strut and nostril (alar) narrowing. Make sure you consult with a Plastic Surgron certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery who is experienced with this kind of surgery.
