Removing a raised black mole on nose? (Photo)

Hi so I'm an 18 year old student, and since I was 4 I had this small mole on my nose which slowly grew huge as I got older... I've always been insecure about it and I've now decided I want it removed this summer break next year... What would be the procedures to remove the mole on my nose? How much will it cost and do you think in 2 months whatever scar is left, will have faded a bit?

Moles will regrow if you decide to partially remove them. If you are concerned please have it completely removed by a cosmetic dermatologist.  Best, Dr. Emer.

There are risks to performing at-home treatments. At this point, I would use Ceralase creams to the wound followed by twice daily application of Plato's Scar Serum and pulsed dye laser once the skin heals over. Best, DR. KaramanoukianLos Angeles

I have seen and treated many of these garlic burn scars. I would first apply Ceralase cream to the wound followed by Melarase creams to help even out the color difference. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

Cosmetic moles can be removed with minimal scarring in many cases. I would suggest a consultation to go over cost of removal, anesthesia, and need for a biopsy. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
