Plasma eye and neck lift, 6 weeks post op, and the discoloration from scabs is pronounced. Advice? (photos)

I had the Phi Plasma eye & neck lift (version of Plexr) on 30th November. All went well until about 5 days after the scabs came off then the treated area darkened. I’m now at week 6 & the discolouration is pronounced. The treator insists this is normal & needs to be left alone to heal. I know it’s post inflammatory hyperpigmentation but anything I use on it irritates it further. I’ve seen very little improvement in the past 3 weeks. I’m getting conflicting advice on treatment- I’m scared.
