Congratulations on your treatment. I would suggest only using products approved by your surgeon/injector. Look for a list of approved skin care in your post-injection instructions. Good luck. Dr. ALDO
There should not be no reason why you can’t use topical creams after PRP treatment to the face.
I presume you mean PRP treatment on the face: At this time its okay to continue your normal skin care products.
Thank you for your question. PRP is a simple and effective facial rejuvenation procedure and you can continue your normal skin care routine post the procedure.
We normally advise that only products prescribed by the physician who treated you should be used for 1 week following the PRP session.Do not use any aggressive cosmetic products until your skin is totally healed and ensure you wear a protective SPF cream. Ultimately, it is always best to seek the advice of your physician at all times if you are in any doubt.
Hi manj123,Since it's been 5 days post treatment, you can resume a normal gentle skin care regimen unless otherwise instructed by your clinician. You may find that you are sensitive to products that you usually use and tolerate well–wait 5-7 days before applying retinols or acids. If your skin still feels more sensitive than usual, hold off on these products and continue using Cerave moisturizer. You can try your preferred skincare. Doctors would usually suggest products that promote healing like SkinMedica TNS complex. You should always wear an SPF of 20 or greater when exposed to any sunlight. SPF must not be applied for the first 48-72 hours, so sun exposure must be avoided. All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
