Eye bag/bulge still visible one week after PRP injection.

PRP is not a treatment for eye bags first off.  Second, if you have bags you are a candidate for surgery and should consider that over any non invasive treatment such as fillers or lasers that can help camoflage but cannot get rid of severe bags.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your question. It sounds like you developed this bag after the PRP injections and did not have it prior. If that is the case, with time it should get better. If you had a pre-existing bag under your eye prior to the PRP, it is unlikely this will correct your problem and you may need a lower blepharoplasty to correct this problem.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

Hi moimoi923, It may seem strange to experience swelling after microneedling with PRP since it's your own blood, but it happens. For undereye bags, the treatment of choice would either be surgery or fillers. Restylane Refyne produces good results on tear troughs.
