Answer: Breast Implants/ Breast Augmentation/ Anatomic Gummy Bear Implants/ Silicone Implants/ Breast Implant Revision Surgery I appreciate your question. Right now, you are early on in the post op recovery period. It will take 3-6 months for you to feel comfortable having implants in your body and for them to settle. This time allows for you to physically and psychologically adapt to your new body image. There are many variables that contribute to a breast augmentation's final result. Preop size and shape, IMF location, location of the implants and type of implant. Patients heal at different rates and each breast will sometimes heal at a different rate. Rest, relax, recover and heal. Please Express your concerns to your surgeon so he/she can examine you at this time. Then reassess final result at 6 months. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck! Answer: Right implant not dropping at 8 weeks? = discuss with your plastic surgery if revision might be needed #BA #breastaugmentaion Breast implants tend to right a little bit "high" during the first days or weeks of surgery usually because spasm of the muscle ( when the implant is placed under the muscle). After few weeks, the implants tend to "drop" to normal position. When the implants are not dropping close tot he 3 months ( 12 weeks) after surgery, it is very likely that a revision might be needed. Revision consist in releasing any early scarring that may gave formed that prevents the implants to "Drop".Patients with questions and concern about their breast augmentation should contact the plastic surgeon that performed the procedure to address these concerns and determine if there is need any need of management

Answer: High implant Thank you for your question. It does look as if your implant is sitting slightly high at this stage. This is normally caused by the muscle holding it up and occurs mainly when implants are placed under the muscle. It is still early days following surgery and there is a good chance the implant will correct itself. Some surgeons recommend support bands to help the implant lower. If you have any concerns it would be worth discussing these with your surgeon.Good luck...

Answer: Breast augmentation results It would have been helpful to review your pre operative photograph to determine whether or not you had any asymmetry prior to your breast augmentation. In any case, its normal for your breasts to soften and settle at their own individual rate - it can take three to six months as a minimum for this to happen. Asymmetry and differences in appearance and sensation are all usually normal at this stage. Implants in general don’t drop but rather breast tissue softens and settles. A persisting asymmetry could be either due to pre-existing asymmetry, the implants placed at different heights or a combination of the two. Its still relatively early days for you so be patient and continue to keep your plastic surgeon updated about your progress.

Answer: Right breast implant not dropping? I am sorry to see that you are unhappy. There appears to be a very large size asymmetry-if you have saline implants there could be a deflation n the smaller side. Was there asymmetry pre op with the one side larger and lower? If the smaller side is very hard and the implant does not move when squeezed you may have a capsular contracture. It is important that you see your plastic surgeon for an exam and diagnosis.
