Right-475cc, left-450cc Before procedure my right breast was slightly smaller than my left that's why surgeon decided to put slightly bigger implant on my right. Well now the right one is bigger and is much higher than the left one :(. Really don't like the way they look now. Also even thought I wanted to go up to DD/e cup now I wish I went larger :/
Answer: You're Still Healing Thanks for posting your photos and for your question. It's understandable to have concerns about your breasts' appearance during the first several weeks after surgery — but have patience. Because breasts usually heal at different rates and implants settle into place at different times, breast asymmetry is common at 5 weeks post-op. The initial results of your procedure look quite positive, and I encourage you to wait 3 to 5 months before assessing the final results. If you still have concerns, contact your plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Good luck.

Answer: Assymetry Can be Improved, Not Eliminated. From your photos it appears that you have a very nice early postoperative result. Because you put a larger implant on the right side, the breast envelope has to adapt to a greater challenge. That breast will likely sit higher and take longer to settle down but it most likely will. You and your doctor identified asymmetry preoperatively, and you have done something about it. This will ultimately improve it but not eliminate it. Congratulations!

Answer: Breasts heal differently The two breasts commonly heal quite differently. One breast may swell more, feel more uncomfortable, or have a different initial shape. After complete healing, they will be more similar and natural. You must have patience, but if this causes concern, ask questions of the doctor or the nursing staff. You should wait until 3-6 months post op to consider a breast revision.#BA#breastaugmentation#breastaugmentationhealing#BAhealing

Answer: 5 weeks post op, one is bigger than the other. Any suggestions? I appreciate your question. Right now, you are very early on in the post op recovery period. It will take 3-6 months for you to feel comfortable having implants in your body and for them to settle. This time allows for you to physically and psychologically adapt to your new body image. There are many variables that contribute to a breast augmentation's final result. Preop size and shape, IMF location, location of the implants and type of implant. Patients heal at different rates and each breast will sometimes heal at a different rate. Rest, relax, recover and heal. Please Express your concerns to your surgeon so he/she can examine you. Then reassess final result at 6 months. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck! Dr. Schwartz

Answer: Breast Augmentation It is too early to judge your breasts. It will take 3 to 6 months for the swelling to subside and the tissues to heal. I suspect that if you look back at your pre op photos you will see that your breasts were shaped differently to begin with and this will carry through post op as well.
