Flying home after lower eyelid surgery, is there a reason they say to wait 7 days besides blood clot possibility? (photo)

I book flight for home in 3 days ( fly would take 2.5 hours) after my lower eyelid surgery. There are plenty information that avoid flying at least 7 days.Resons I found only about possibility of clot. It would be very hellpful not just say that is bad, but say why is bad or I will get more swollen, or it can be bleading, or stiches will tear up. Or maybe you can provide some statistics of. After breast augmentation I fly home in 2 days, after tummy tuck in 5 Sorry for my english. Thank you
