Im 6 months post and have only recently noticed they have became uneven. I feel it's more the nipples than the breast plants. I was wondering if this could be because I'm left handed and this is the nipple that is sitting lower down. Also looking for some advice on how to help make it drop more. Would a breast band help this.
Answer: Nipple asymmetry From the submitted photo it appears the implants are sitting evenly on the chest but the nipples are asymmetric. It is likely that the nipples were like this prior to surgery and it is simply more evident now that the focus has increased on the breasts. A breast band would not correct this.

Answer: BA results Dear M.Jenkins, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Breast Augmentation - symmetry Hmmm... this is a bit tricky of a question without seeing your before pictures. Nipple position does not change with breast implants; a breast lift changes the position of the nipples. The left breast implant is a bit medial (towards the center of your body) and lower in position -that likely is from being left hand dominant. When you go back to your plastic surgeon, have him or her review your "before" pictures to get some more information on where you started and why the outcome looks uneven. Best Wishes!!

Answer: Nipple position post operatively Hello and thank you for your question. I see the asymmetry in nipple and areola position that you reference. I also note that the position of the implants themselves are fairly symmetric. This suggests to me that there was some pre-existing nipple position asymmetry pre operatively, in which case we would not significantly expect that to change with placement of symmetric implants on both sides. A breast band (Bandeau) at 6 months won't significantly change the position of the implants, especially since they are not high-riding. The best advice is to follow up with your board certified plastic surgeon for an exam and review of your options which may include a periareolar/donut or vertical/lollipop mastopexy on the lower side to raise the position of the nipple and areola.
