I have an appointment to get an “underboob tattoo” done in June and a breast lift with implants scheduled in August. The tattoo will not come into contact with my breast crease. Is there a risk of distorting the skin around the tattoo area, even though it doesn’t actually contact my breasts?

You need to contact your doctor even on the weekend. He or she should be available to discuss this with you. Probably from a stitch under the skin working its way out.Dr Spies
Plastic Surgeons tend to have individual protocols when it comes to post-operative care. And so the best person to ask this question of is the the Plastic Surgeon that actually performed your surgery. I hope that helps and wish you the very best!Warmest regards,-Gregory A Buford MD FACSBoard ...
Occasionally I will have a patient wear an underwire bra postoperative if there is a concern about the integrity of their own tissue and it's ability to support an implant in the inframammary fold.
