6 weeks post op, breast lift with 415cc gummy bear implants- scar opening (Photo)

I am six weeks post op, recovery has been fine until 5 days ago I noticed a small hole, it's bigger now with greenish yellow discharge and pain. I contacted my surgeon and the nurse instructed me to remove scar tape and apply gauze, and that they would send antibiotics if the surgeon felt necessary. They never got back to me and is now a long weekend? The other breast now looks like there are openings starting too.

Occasionally I will have a patient wear an underwire bra postoperative if there is a concern about the integrity of their own tissue and it's ability to support an implant in the inframammary fold.

Dear Carrie,Your question is difficult to answer without either a physical exam or photos.  A lollipop lift will pull on the lateral skin of the breast, but it may not totally treat the side boob skin.Make sure you accurately ask/discuss this issue with your surgeon.Best of luck.Dr T
