The steroid effect that you see in the abdomen may very well be permanent. Steroid injections are almost never indicated after liposuction and should be done very cautiously.

It's highly doubtful that a compressive garment has any long-term effect on the outcome after liposuction. If an ill fitting garment creates a crease this will correct itself in the garment should be adjusted so as not to re-create the problem.
