The spiky nature of your very short butgrowing hair is normal. In several weeksyou can expect to lose this hair however it will be replaced. Your hair will continue to grow anew with finalresults around 12 months. Typically, shorter hair feels spiky. Once it grows longer it will take the natural characteristics of your own natural hair. I would not be concerned about it at this time. Sometimes, within the first month after hair restoration the grafts actually grow slightly before they fall out and as a result they seem like spike hair. Again, I would not be too concern about it yet.

You can wear a hair usually a day after surgery. If you want to wear a wooly hat just make sure it won't pull or get caught. It is best to consult with your doctor if you are concerned.
Photos cannot assess if you would be a candidate for surgery. Usually this involves seeing a doctor in person. You need to explain to the doctor your goals and the doctor needs to explain to you the realistic expectations based on your examinations and your goals.

It is best to discuss post operative care and issues with your doctor since every doctor has a slightly different regimen. In general, you can use hair dyes weeks after surgery after your wounds have healed. Same goes for hair spray.
