Hi everyone, I have been following the forum for the past 6 months, and I am very interested in a FUE treatment for my hair loss. Quick about me: - 25 years old - Lost majority of hair at age 19 (2010) - Received SMP treatment in 2012 - Norwood 6-7
Answer: Photos cannot assess if you would be a candidate for surgery. Usually this involves seeing a doctor in person. Photos cannot assess if you would be a candidate for surgery. You need to explain to the doctor your goals and the doctor needs to explain to you the realistic expectations based on your examinations and your goals.

Answer: Hair transplant for Norwood 7 My honest opinion is to refrain from hair transplants at this point. You have a significant degree of hair loss with limited donor area. Looking at your donor area, it seems that the density is low. If you do want to proceed, you have to see a hair transplant donor that will analyze the back of your scalp with a densitometer. A densitometer can assist and evaluate your individual hair follicles in terms of density and quality. Unless you do that, I would request that you do not do a hair transplant. I’m concerned that if you do a hair transplant, you may not get the best result you want. It may be too sparse, and may not look good. Unfortunately, at that time you'll be stuck. You can’t shave the back of your scalp and now you would just have a poor looking hair transplant.

Answer: Best Options For You Dear patient, First of all you should accept your situation. You are 25 years old and your safe donor site top line is low, less density and your hairs "seem" thin and will be thinner in the future. In my opinion, you should learn to live with your hair loss and your head shape looks grate, scraping hairs may be best option for you. In my opinion, best of the worst option may be hair transplant -IF YOUR HAIRS ARE THICK ENOUGH-, but you shouldn't have high expectations. You will have an intense hair in the frontal area like a wall and less dense behind it. After surgery you can have mesotherapy and PRP treatments for saving the little hairs that you have now. It's your turn, make your decision. Best regards.

Answer: Best options for Norwood 6-7 When I look to your donor site ,I mean the area where I will get your grafts, that is very poor and have a limited area that we are not able to get enough number of follicles to cover all bare area and restore preexisting hair. So I am planning to perform at least 2 session of operation for you : İn first one we will restore a frontal hairline that is propotional to your face and hair transplantation up to projection of ears ; in second operation that will be planned at least 6 months after first one, we would restore rest of area (up to vertex or beyond vertex) that is remained untransplanted/bare . I can harvest from you approximatelly 3000-3500 grafts for FUE operation. But you have to know that your donor site is hard to hervest and you need a very qualified ,experienced surgeon .

Answer: FUE You would be looking at multiple sessions to achieve moderate density from front to back. Your scalp donor looks plentiful as well as your beard which can also be used to harvest grafts. A great first step would be an online consultation. Often you can submit photos to top hair restoration surgeons for a complimentary evaluation. This should help lead you in the right direction. Having multiple consultations with different doctors can help with your research.
