Hair dye & hairspray 4 weeks after FUE. Please can someone help with below queries? Feedback truly appreciated.

Question

1)I use Just For Men dye for the past several years with no issues, it is safe to dye all my hair(Don+Recp) at 4 wks pst-surgry? 2)Is it ok to use hairspray, then wash my hair in the evenings so that any chemicals are removed ? if so 4 how long? 3)If no reaction after hair-dye does it mean there would not be damage to hair follicles, also what causes follcl damage? Worry I have is my donor area is not all healed - a minor scab area scratched off, would this cause issues in case 1),2) and 3)?

It is best to discuss post operative care and issues with your doctor since every doctor has a slightly different regimen.  In general, you can use hair dyes weeks after surgery after your wounds have healed.  Same goes for hair spray.

Generally at 1 month post-transplant you can safely color your hair and/or use any hair products(spray,gel).I would check with your surgeon first however.

This is a great question, typically by 4 weeks you can use hair dyes and hair sprays without damaging your hair follicles.

I recommend you follow your physicians post operative instructions as they vary.  I ask patients to wait until after a week or when the scabs are off to use hair spray.  You should wait 2 months before coloring your hair.

At 4 weeks you can do what ever you want to your hair as you are now normal and you can do what you normally would do. Always be very careful with hair dyes
