I want a bbl but have a mild form of hidradentis supperativa which causes me to get ingrown hairs/boils can I still get surgery?

Depending on the location of your hidradenitis, you should be able to have liposuction with a fat transfer. You should consult with a surgeon to have the hidradenitis evaluated; usually this condition affects the armpit and groin area- which are not typically liposuctioned.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno

You can most likely have a BBL despite having hidradenitis. I am for thighs with what you go through having hidradenitis.I can be a miserable condition.Most plastic surgeons will give antibiotics at the time of surgery and give patients anabiotics to take after your surgery.I suggest having several in person consultations with board-certified plastic surgeon's who specialize in this procedure.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
