I've gone from 380 implants to 500, am I going to see a difference?

I would confirm with your surgeon that you were actually charged by the size of the implant and not the selected type or texture suggested by your surgeon. Yes, based on the size difference, you will have a noticeably larger chest. 

Thank you for your question. A 120cc size increase should produce a noticeable change. 500cc implants in a patient 5'2" and 112 pounds should be impressive. Hopefully you will be happy with the size increase. I do think it is unusual that were charged by volume. I have not heard of that...

Adding 120cc to 380cc implant should give you a nice change. 500cc implants are quite large. Larger implants are heavier implants. Heavier implants can drag downwards over time. You should wear good support. It is not usual to charge by the implant size. Normally the charge applies to the type of implant. Maybe there was a special reason why tight compression bandages were applied. It is more common to wear a comfortable bra after surgery.

Now, it would be interesting to know what brand of implants you have got. No surgeon would charge different prices based on the volume of the implants, but sometimes cheaper brands limit the choice to smaller volumes and do not offer particularly big sizes. If this is the case, it would explain why larger implants would have been more expensive in your case, because your surgeon would have had to use a different and more expensive brand than the one you have got. Just my guess, but maybe you should have discussed this before the procedure.

Congratulations on having undergone the revisionary breast surgery. Assuming that all that was done during the revisionary procedure was an exchange of breast implants, 120 cc should be noticeable difference. We normally tell patients to go up in size at least 75-100cc if they want to feel like they see a real difference.Your statement about what you paid is interesting as all implants of any given style cost the same and the surgery does not vary appreciable based on size. Guess they do things different there. Hope you had time to enjoy Belgium while you were there. If you don't like the size then you at least get to have another trip to get them redone.
