Are small holes after microneedling normal?

I had my first microneedling treatment at a salon yesterday using a dermapen. I have noticed that my face seems to be covered in tiny dots, like open pores, the next day. Is this normal? It seems to have made the texture of my skin worse!

Microneedling with PRP definitely isn't like a relaxing facial and it can tend to sting and burn a little during the procedure.  It shouldn't feel as painful as you're describing it though.  I always have my patients put on a topical numbing cream before the treatment.  I...
