Post operative care following a facial hair transplant. Should the crusts be falling off already? (Photo)

Question

I had my facial hair transplant 48 hours ago. My only concern is the crusts that have formed on my face seem to look less that Day 1. Should they be falling off already? Also I'm assuming that there will be graphed hair underneath as I, worried that when the crusts finally come off i will have no hair . I've attached some latest photos for you to have a look at and tell me what you think. These were taken last night. Thank you

Crusts are normal & commonly formed after hair transplant. There is a lot off blood oozing from recipient sites 7 also donor area as well.Proper cleaning by baby shampoo as advised by your doctor will help to clear these crusts soon.Also, you hair roots will be just fine inside your skin after your crusts will be clear.

This is standard in my hands and gets the cleanest recipient area within a day after the hair transplant. This iks my routine:An FUE of any transplant including a beard transplant is treated just like a regular hair
transplant with regard to the recipient area, but if the donor area has open
wounds (FUE), it requires daily washing with soap and water. Within 3 days of
surgery, you can resume full activities, heavy exercises if you wish. The
recipient area requires daily washes as well to keep the recipient area free of
crusts. I generally recommend the use of a sponge and supply my patient with a
surgical sponge to fill with soapy water and press on the recipient area daily in a rolling motion, never rubbing.
By repeating this daily, all crusts can be washed off without any fear of
losing grafts. IF any crust are present, use a Q tip and dip it into soapy
water, and roll it on the crusts and that will lift them off without dislodging
them, but never rub them, just roll the Q tip on the recipient crust. I like to
see no evidence of any crusting in the recipient area and the crusts from the
donor area gone in 7-10 days with daily washing,.

Your hair tranplant specialist should have provided post op care, as well as review the healing and growth timeline. However, the scabs if cleaned properly as directed should fall off in 10 days.
