What do I need to do for an hourglass figure, is liposuction enough or do I need more? (Photos)

I have had a tummy tuck around 3 years ago but since gained 3 stone. I like my weight but just want an hourglass figure. I am 5ft 4 and around 11.5 stone. I know I also need the dog ears removed from my scar. They look pretty bad. I would rather avoid a BBL... could I possibly achieve a hourglass figure through liposuction or even CoolSculpting? Thanks in advance for any comments.

I would begin with your breasts using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. This technique will make you look taller and thinner by raising the breasts higher. At the same time, you can undergo liposuction to give you a more hourglass figure. After this, you can consider a repeat tummy tuck, if necessary, using mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight.

you likely need lipo 360 + BBL but if you have loose skin in the back then you may need that skinremoved as well (extended tummy tuck/ body lift)
You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best.  Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring.  Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods.  The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring.  This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face.  Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra.  If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty).  Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting.  Dr. Emer.

Liposuction can be used to help sculpt your curves to accentuate an hourglass figure.  The dog ears can be addressed at the same time.  You will want to be as close to your goal weight as possible when having the procedure in order to give your surgeon the ability to optimize your results. In order to get an “hourglass figure” you will need liposuction of the abdomen and flanks. However, your expectations must be realistic as liposuction is a body contouring operation and not a weight loss operation. Your dog ears could easily be taken care of at the same time.

well done Liposuction of your love handles, waist, back and armpits is the ideal complement to a previously done Tummy tuck.It may be challenging to correct your dog year because of your tattoo. Ideally you should’ve had that corrected before you got the tattoo.Aggressive Liposuction can decrease the dog years substantially and this may be sufficient so you can avoid the need for a skin excision.Coolsculpting is laughably bad in comparison to what Liposuction can deliver. You could choose to add fat transfer to bottom if you like but I don’t see a strong need for it.I think well done Liposuction of your torso emphasizing on the backside and waist is the way to go.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

It isi impossible to actually answer your question specifically since to do so requires significant discussion with you to discover what your real desires are and where you would like to compromise. If you are truly happy with your weight, then liposuction is an excellent way to smooth your contours as well as reducing the abdominoplasty scar for ear. It will not, however, give you an hourglass figure. No matter how much fat you remove externally, you will still have significant intraabdominal fat below the muscle straightening the contour between your chest and hips. Presently, your BMI is 27.6. Although that is reasonable, it is not consistent with an "hourglass figure." Decide exactly what you most want and are willing to do to achieve and return to your previous plastic surgeon or another experienced in liposuction and body contouring to discuss all this at length. However, see someone else if they promise you everything without changing your weight.
