Fat embolism with BBL, can it be treated?

The biggest fear for anyone thinking of doing a Brazilian butt lift is the risk of fat embolism. I know that that can be avoided up to some degree by choosing the right surgeon m, but what I don't know is if fat embolism can be treated if it ever happens? And how? What other high risks are associated with bbl?

The most important point is to keep the tip of the cannula away from larger vessels. This can only be assured by injecting under the skin so that the tip can be visualized at all times. There are other risks associated with BBL: numbness, infection, among others. Only, an experienced and specially trained plastic surgeon can help diminish those risks significantly. There is a low mortality rate for BBL of approximately 1 in 3,000, according to statistics issued by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

if the fat is transferred above the muscles, the risk of fat embolism is very low. In case it happens, there are treatment options.

The majority of patients who get a fat embolism pass away on the table. Last I read, there was only 1 survivor and she was in a coma in the hospital (didn't recover 100%). You need to pick a board certified PS that follows all the safety recommendations and has not had a death. The results are more natural but you will be safe in their hands. The risk of fat embolism comes with injecting the fat in to the muscle. This leads to a more dramatic results (bigger rounder butt), but also the risk of a fat embolism.
