6 wks post FUE hair transplant. Has my donor area been overharvested and were grafts taken from outside the "safe zone?" (photo)

The procedure took place on the 11th April 17 and 2600 grafts transplanted. I'm worried that one area has been over harvested as the hair in the donor area seems considerably thinner in this area. I'm also concerned as some grafts have been harvested from very high up on my head, which to me seems unnecessary due to the number of grafts needed to begin with.

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.There is no way to tell if your surgery was a success until you see the results.

Looking to get a FUE no shave hair transplant. Will shock loss be more severe by not shaving and is shock loss permanent?

Shock hair loss after a hair transplant is always a risk so you need to see a doctor for an exam to understand it better for your particular situation.It has nothing to do with the type of surgery.

If you are having issues after surgery with pain you need to contact your doctor.  If you cannot see your doctor, you need to see another doctor in person.  There is no way tell what is going on without an examination.

No, unfortunately the donor hair cannot be from another person, even a close relative. The tissue will be rejected in the same way that a transplanted organ is rejected. Work with a skilled hair transplant surgeon to determine all of your options regarding hair transplant and different donor...

2 days post FUE transplant. Can a heavy blast of wind damage my grafts? Airport had heavy blowing vent and it blasted me (Photo)

It is unlikely that there is any damage to the grafts.  After two days they should be secure in the recipient sites and would not be injured by the wind exposure.  Follow your surgeons instruction and you should enjoy a nice result.  Best Regards - Dr. Weiss
