Hi all i had my transplant in istanbul iam in london , i have told them again about the pains and discomfort all they say is this is normal but its a very strong pain ,is this pain normal how long am i lookin for a recovery? Please help , ,,,i have been in hospital 2 times yesturday doctor just gave me painkiller iam by my self on this and no help from the clinic i got my hair transplant

No, unfortunately the donor hair cannot be from another person, even a close relative. The tissue will be rejected in the same way that a transplanted organ is rejected. Work with a skilled hair transplant surgeon to determine all of your options regarding hair transplant and different donor...

It is unlikely that there is any damage to the grafts.  After two days they should be secure in the recipient sites and would not be injured by the wind exposure.  Follow your surgeons instruction and you should enjoy a nice result.  Best Regards - Dr. Weiss

You can get a hair cut after your donor areas has healed.  You can have a short hair cut as you wish.

If you are having issues after surgery, especially with "black spots" you should contact your doctor.

Thanks for your question.We advise our patients to reduce smoking before and after the surgery. It will not effect your hair grow if you smoke about 5-6 cigarettes per day. But every surgeon has his own after care instructions and it will be better to consult with him/her.
