Answer: No shave FUE In our experience we have not seen increased "shock" loss when using this technique. As a general comment keep in mind that with the no shave technique we are more limited in the number of grafts that can be safely harvested so as to maintain a normal appearance of the donor area.

Answer: Non-Shave FUE There is two types of non-shave FUE: one is to clip each hair to be extracted, usually done the day before the procedure. More commonly small patches are clipped with the grafts extracted from the patches. The problem with this method is the extracted grafts are concentrated in these small patches, and depending on the size of the case can result in over harvesting.

Answer: Dr. Baubac Hayatdavoudi performs Non Shaving Hair Restoration We offer non shaving FUE Hair restoration up to 2,500 - 3,000 grafts. With our Non-Shaving Hair Restoration option, the patient does not have to shave their head to have a hair transplant. The hair on the top of the head is left untouched and at normal length, and only very small sections are clipped in the donor region, which are then concealed by the patient’s existing hair keeping the procedure fully concealed and hidden. With Dr. Baubac’s Non-Shaving sessions the patient can return to work and every day activities immediately without people knowing that a hair restoration has taken place.

Answer: We ave the technique for you!!! Dear friend: We do not need to shave the hair where the grafts are placed and this doesn’t affect the result of the surgery. We do need to shave the area where the hair comes from (donor area) in order to properly extract the best follicles available. We utilize a technique at our clinic that we call “lift and shave”. Please feel free to ask more questions and I hope this answers you.
