Question

Had botox 2 days ago. Had it previously with no problems. However this time i fainted...but i was laid down. She said she hit a blood vessel. I Blacked out and my whole body went tingly. Felt weak and sick the rest of the day. I have a scar on my forehead from a strawberry birthmark and it happened when she injected near the scar. So last night i noticed this linear dent on my forehead. Was not there before. Should I be worried? What is it? Has botox entered a vein? Has a vein collapsed?

The visible vertical line extending from the hairline to the head of your left brow quite well may be a collapsed supratrochlear vein. To make sure, try to watch it when straining or coughing. These maneuvers will increase the venous pressure and the groove should disappear. Good luck!

It is difficult to make an assessment just looking at your pictures. I have to speculate that because of the swelling you have after the injection broke a small blood vessel, the area is still healing and most likely will be totally gone in a day or so. For more concerns you should call the doctor's office where you had the treatment done.Good luck.

The effect on your left procerus (frowning) muscle is not sufficient yet. It may still develop over the next 10 days. If line remains after this period of time, check back with your injector for an additional injection.

Probably it's nothing to worry about. Botox takes three or four days to start to work and ten to really show so the line might be due to the botox not quite taking. Sometimes doctors hit a vessel and this can cause bruising. It is possible that some of the botox toxin has got lost in the bruise and this might explain why a small line remains. Give it a bit longer before you go back for a top-up. As for the collapse, it is difficult to see any real association with the birth mark. Sometimes our imaginations play havoc with our bodies. What you experienced was very real but difficult to explain.
